TERMS OF SERVICE
UtahLister service boundaries and customer terms.
These terms apply when you submit an intake, book an appointment, pay for a UtahLister service, or use a UtahLister listing package.
What UtahLister provides
UtahLister provides in-person and remote listing preparation services. Depending on the package, that may include item photography, pricing guidance, Marketplace/KSL listing drafts, photo order, buyer reply prompts, sale-event summary copy, and limited posting guidance.
Seller-owned account model
- You keep your marketplace account, item, buyer conversation, meetup, and payout.
- UtahLister is not the seller of record and does not take possession of inventory in the default service model.
- UtahLister does not request marketplace passwords as part of the normal workflow.
Your responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information about item condition, included parts, known defects, and legality.
- You must have the right to sell the items and share the photos, screenshots, and listing materials you provide.
- You are responsible for final live listings, buyer communication, pickup, payment collection, and edits after delivery.
- You must not use UtahLister to list prohibited, counterfeit, recalled, unlawful, or policy-restricted items.
- For in-person packages, you must provide safe access to the items at the scheduled appointment time.
Travel and appointments
In-person packages include the first 10 one-way driving miles from Lehi, Utah. Additional one-way miles are charged at $1 per mile during the founding customer period. Return travel is not billed during that period. Travel quotes depend on third-party map data and may be manually reviewed before booking.
Payments, cancellations, and refunds
Payment is collected up front when you book an in-person package (Starter Sale, Full Sale, Estate / Move) or a Remote Listing. For appointments you book and pay for:
- Rescheduling is always free, even at the last minute. If your plans change, rescheduling is the best option.
- Cancel 24 hours or more before your appointment: you receive a full refund of the amount paid. Third-party payment processing fees are non-refundable.
- Cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, or do not show: 50% of the package price is refunded. The other 50% covers the reserved time and travel planning. Rescheduling instead avoids this entirely.
- For Estate / Move, the 50% applies to the $399 base fee. Hourly time beyond the included four hours is only ever billed for time actually worked.
- The free 15-minute consultation is no cost and can be cancelled or rescheduled anytime.
Separately from customer cancellations:
- If UtahLister declines or cancels a job before the paid work starts, UtahLister will refund the full amount paid for that job.
- Once an appointment has been completed or a customized deliverable has been created, fees are nonrefundable except where UtahLister fails to provide the purchased service.
- If a delivered package contains a factual or formatting issue caused by UtahLister and you report it promptly, UtahLister will make a reasonable correction within scope.
No guaranteed outcome
Platform and policy compliance
UtahLister may refuse work that appears risky, deceptive, restricted, or outside scope. You remain responsible for complying with the rules of the marketplaces where you post and for making sure the final live listing is accurate.
Liability limit
To the maximum extent allowed by law, UtahLister will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. UtahLister's total liability for a claim relating to a specific paid order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
